Gold Residential Project
The Residential Project is a separate Gold requirement. It is not an Adventurous Journey. It asks you to spend five days and four nights away from home, living and working with people you have not met before, toward a shared purpose.

Purpose
Why it exists
The Adventurous Journey builds capability in the outdoors. The Residential Project builds capability with people.
Arriving somewhere unfamiliar, without your usual group, and contributing to a shared purpose is a different kind of challenge, and often a formative one.
